Breeds: A. Purebred Angus, B. Purebred Hereford, C. Pinzgauer,
D. Beef-Beef Cross E. Any Other Cross, F. Any Other Purebred,
G. Simmental
Refer to Dairy Show for Rules.
Dress Code: White shirt or blouse with black pants or skirt
CLASSES
Classes for beef breeds will be broken down as follows:
Heifers and Steers by age classification.
- Bull Calf, under 6 months
- Junior Calf, January 1st to June 1st
- Senior Calf, September 1st to December 1st
- Junior Yearling, March 1st to August 31st
- Senior Yearling, September 1st to February 28th
- 2 Year Old September 1st to August 31st
- Aged Cow, three years and over, born after September 1st
- Grand Champion Beef (Ribbons Only)
- Cow and Calf (must be born in the current year)
- Produce of Dam
- Beef Herd (3 animals of any age)
- Overall Beef Champion (A revolving plaque in memory of Al Beaudette)
