RULES

1.  Demolition Derbies will be held Friday, September 2nd at 7:30 PM and Monday, September 5th at 5:00 PM
2.  Drivers must check in at the northwest gate
3.  All participants must be pre-entered.  Applications will be available online.  There will also be applications available at the fairgrounds.  Applications for demolition derby and Truck Pull will be available every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. through August 30th.
4.  Specific rules and regulations will be distributed upon registration
5.  Please contact superintendents with any questions
6.  NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PIT AREA OR ON THE GROUNDS
7.  Entry Fee:  $35.00

ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Each driver must fill out an entry blank.
2. All rules and regulations must be observed. Track operators or promoters reserve the right to approve or reject all entries.
3. ONLY DRIVERS AND MECHANICSwill be permitted in the pit area or on the track. ENTRY FEE $35.00. NO REFUNDS.The entry fee must be cash. NO PERSONAL CHECKS.
4. NO CARS on the track before the heat they are to participate in.
5. MEMBERS OF THE AUTO DEMOLITION DERBY are not employees of the track operator or the promoter of the Auto Demolition Derby.
6. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED IN THE PIT AREA, DRIVERS THAT ARE DRINKING WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. BREATHALYZER TESTS MAY BE GIVEN.
7. TIRES MUST BE STOCK SIZE, 4 ply, no inner liner, no truck tires, no snow or mud treads, no doughnuts.
8. NO ANTIFREEZE OR FREON ALLOWED.
9. NO WELDING except two (2) half dollar size welds on the driver’s door.
10. ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS ALLOWED in the driver’s compartment. NO EXCEPTIONS.
11. NO FORIEGN LUXURY VEHICLES.

Drivers Entry

1. DRIVERS MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
2. ALL DRIVERS MUST SUPLY THEIR OWN CARS. Entries are limited to 2 cars per driver per night.
3. ALL DRIVERS AND CARS must be entered at the track 2 hours before the scheduled starting time of the derby.
4. Enter early there will be a fifty car limit per derby.
5. ANY DRIVER DISOBEYING THE RULES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
6. Paint this number_________ on each side of your car in large, bright colors.

Participating Regulations

1. Any COMPACT  4-cylinder  foreign or domestic automobile. No diesels, electric, headers, or 4-wheel drives, maximum weight 2750 per N.A.D.A book.
2. ALL GLASS AND CHROME TRIM and anything that might become imbedded in the track must be removed from the car before bringing auto into grounds. Also car must be cleaned out including the trunk. Do not leave broken glass in the doors clean them out. WINDSHIELD IS OPTIONAL. Fiberglass nosepieces, wheel weights, headlight buckets, trunk and hood latches must be removed.
3. A MAXIMUM OF THREE (3) GALLONS OF GASOLINE will be allowed. GAS TANKS METAL ONLY must be moved to the trunk or will be allowed in the driver’s compartment if covered by a firewall. ONLY ONE (1) STOCK CAR BATTERY will be allowed. Must be covered.
4. NO REINFIRCEMENTS OF ANY KIND WILL BE ALLOWED. Trailer hitches must be removed.
5. SAFTEY BELTS AND HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.
6. DRIVERS MAY MANUVER FORWARD OR BACKWARD. No deliberate head on collisions or deliberately ramming the driver’s door. This can lead to disqualification.
7. A TIME LIMIT WILL BE SET BY THE JUDGES. IF A DRIVER DOES NOT HIT A LIVE CAR WITHIN THE LIMIT, THIS CAN LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION. DO NOT PLAY POSSUM.
8. Do not weld or bolt hoods or trunk lids down. Use wire.
9. THE DERBY WILL BE COMPOSED OF INDIVIDUAL HEATS AND A FEATURE with cash prizes going to each heat winner and a grand prize going to the feature winner. Feature will be composed of winners and runner-ups of each heat when the show is a single derby event. Feature will be comprised of each heat from each show when there are two or more derby events.
10. ADDITIONAL SAFETY REGULATIONS MAY BE IMPOSED DEPENDING ON TRACK.
11. A 12 x 15 inch hole must be cut in the center of the hood.
12. Rules are subject to change to fit the event. THE DECISION OF THE JUDGE IS FINAL.
13. All cars become property of R.M. Constantineau Auto Metal & Salvage.
