RULES

  1. Each tractor must appear factory stock. (Except class D)
  2. Only one driver may drive tractor in the same contest.  Driver must be 16 years old or over to enter.
  3. Each tractor will be allowed three minutes (time starts when tractor is hitched) or three tries (a try consist of the bolt moving one inch or more).
  4. No implements, chains, cleats, tracks, etc. allowed
  5. Tractor must be weighed for each class including driver.  Tires may be loaded.  All weight added must be securely attached to wheels or frame.  All brackets to be attached in a safe manner not to interfere with driver or hitching.  No weight shall be on or in the way of the seat, clutch, or brakes.  If a weight or frame is lost while pulling, pull will be counted as a try, but not measured.
  6. Front weights must not exceed 18” forward of the front most position of the tractor including weights. (Except Class D which is 6 ½ feet from center of rear axle to the forward most point including weight.)
  7. Bolt must be hooked off a safe draw bar using a clevis or ring able to except a 3/8 slip hook loosely not to exceed height of 9” for all classes.  Hitches will be measured to the pulling point on clevis where the hook sits. (for clevises and rings that drop down, hitch will be measured at the center o pining spot of ring or clevis.
  8. Tractor must have wheelie bar or bars able to support tractor in class it is entered and must not allow front axle to raise more than 14” or tractor will be disqualified.
  9. Open class of 1800 pounds and under must have an unmodified factory frame (frame only, not including rear axle) no longer than 6.5 feet from the center of rear axle to the farthest most point including weights. Tractor must not have more than four cylinders combined and must have 4 wheels.  4-wheel drive must be disengaged if present.  Must have wheelie bars able to support tractor and follow all other safety rules in Lawn & Garden. Pull officials will inspect tractors for safe operation.  Authorization to pull will be made my pull officials.
  10. Driver must stay in seat of tractor at all times (NO BOUNCING or rocking).  First offense is a warning, second is disqualification.
  11. No locked or locking rear axles or four wheel drives must be disconnected (except Class D)
  12. A full pull of 6’ to be done in one pull of a continuous movement.  If bolt stops for more than 3 seconds, it will be counted as a try.
  13. The bolt must be set back if it is pulled more than 12 inches.  The driver can request bolt pulled back at any time.
  14. All rear tires will remain on slab for the entire time.  If the point of the tire that touches the slab goes off edge o slab it will be counted as a try but not measured.
  15. Top three tractors are subject to reweigh.
  16. Copy of rules will be available at pulling area.
  17. ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL THAT ARE MADE BY SUPERINTENDENT OR PULL OFICIAL.  SLIGHT MODIFICATIONS OF RULES MAY BE MADE BY SUPERINTENDENT OR PULL OFFICIALS AT ANY TIME IN THE EVENT OF CONLICT AND/OR LOCAL OR PAD CONDITIONS.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.

CLASSES

  1. 900 lbs. and under
  2. 1200 lbs. and under
  3. 1500 lbs. and under
  4. 1800 lbs modified

PRIZES: 

First, $40; Second, $20; Third, $10; Fourth, $5
Trophy awarded for first prize in each class.
