RULES

1.   This show will be governed by the latest Show Rules and Standards of Perfection of the American Rabbit Breeders Association.  Your entry indicates the acceptance of these rules and any other rules set by this club.  This is an ARBA sanctioned show.
2.  All entries must be postmarked no later than Monday, August 22nd.  Please mail early to ensure entry is received on time.  Entries are limited and accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
3.  Entries will be limited to 15 rabbits per exhibitor.  Pets will be limited to 2 per exhibitor. 
4.  All entries must be mailed to listed show superintendents.  Entry form located in back of book. 
5.  Rabbits are to remain until Monday at 6:00 PM.
6.  Exhibitors will not be allowed into their cages after Thursday night until check out time on Monday night.  The committee will be responsible for the care of animals during the Fair.  The Fair Association will provide feed for the animals. 
7.  All ARBA rabbits are to be permanently tattooed in the left ear, and it must be legible as per ARBA rules.
8.  Exhibitor must supply 2 heavy weight dishes for each rabbit entered.
9.  Check in time is from 4:30-7:30 PM Thursday, September 1.  Judging will start at 8:00 P.M. or earlier if all exhibits of a breed are checked in.
10.  Entry fee of $0.75 per rabbit must accompany entry.  Checks made payable to the Spencer Agricultural Association.
11.  All animals must be free of visual signs of disease.  Any rabbits showing any signs of disease will be removed at the discretion of the show superintendent.

Trophies will be awarded for Best In Show and Best Reserve In Show ARBA and Best Pet Rabbit and Best Reserve Pet Rabbit

CLASSES

Prizes: First, $4.00; Second, $3.00; Third, $2.00; Fourth, $1.00
A-1 Pedigreed Senior Buck (male rabbit over 6 months of age)
A-2 Pedigreed Senior Doe (female rabbit over 6 months of age)
A-3 Pedigreed Intermediate Buck (male rabbit over 6 months of age or under 8 months of age, maturing over 10 pounds)
A-4 Pedigreed Intermediate Doe (female rabbit over 6 months of age or under 8 months of age, maturing over 10 pounds)
A-5 Pedigreed Junior Buck (male rabbit under 6 months of age)
A-6 Pedigreed Junior Doe (female rabbit under 6 months of age)
A-7 Pet Class                              

RABBIT RACES
RIBBONS ONLY

Rabbits will compete two or three times during the Fair.

  1. First rabbit to reach the finish line wins.
  2. Exhibitors must be present during this contest.

1.         No costume that will hurt or harm the rabbit.
2.         Exhibitors must be present during this contest.

RABBIT SHOWMANSHIP

Sunday – September, 5 2010 1:00 P.M.

1.   Pre-Junior  Division      Under the age of 8, (ribbons only)
4.   Junior Division               Ages 8 – 11
3.   Intermediate Division    Ages 12 – 14
2.   Senior  Division              Ages 15 and older
5.   Novice  Division             Anyone over the age of 8 (as of Jan. 1st) with no previous showing experience

Dress Code

Poultry Exhibitors: White shirt or blouse, khaki pants or skirt. Dress jeans are acceptable.
