Cowboy Cookies
Sift together: 2 cups sifted flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp soda
Blend together: 1 cup shortening 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup white sugar 2 eggs And add flour mixture 2 cups rolled oats 1 tsp vanilla 1 pkg chocolate or butterscotch bits
Drop by tsp onto cookie sheet
Bake @ 350 for about 8 minutes until edges are golden brown
